Address verification is an essential step toward validating your profile on Paxful. Listed below are the documents we accept:
- Bank statements
- Credit card statements
- Utility bills for gas, electricity, water, internet, etc., linked to the property
- Cable bills (but not from satellite TV companies)
- Landline telephone bills
- Tax bill (can be valid for 1 year)
Other requirements:
- It must be a legal and traceable document displaying your full name and current residential address
- You must upload the official PDF file or a photo of the official physical document from the bank or utility company
- The address must match the address you entered
We do not accept the following:
- Mobile phone bills
- Medical bills
- Insurance statements
- Bank statements from digital banks or online wallets
- Transaction receipts
- Documents older than 3 months (except for Tax Bills)
- Printed or photocopies of documents
- Screenshots of documents
- Cropped documents
- Documents showing only P.O. box addresses
