At times, offers may be removed from the Paxful marketplace if they pose a risk to the community or violate our guidelines for safe and fair trading in cryptocurrency.
Here are some common reasons why offers are removed:
- Changing Terms After Trade Start
Don’t alter the terms or instructions once a trade has begun. This undermines trust and can create confusion or conflict.
- Sharing Contact Information
All communication must stay within Paxful's trade chat. Sharing personal contact details like WhatsApp, Telegram, phone numbers, or email can lead to fraud or identity theft.
- Being Unresponsive
If you create an offer, you must remain responsive throughout the trade. Leaving trade partners waiting disrupts the trading process and may lead to the removal of your offer.
- Disrespectful Behavior
Use of profanity, hate speech, or offensive language will not be tolerated. Paxful enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for abusive conduct.
- Restricted Payment Method
Offers may be removed if the selected payment method is restricted in your region.
- Violation of Paxful's Terms of Service
Any breach of our Terms of Service may result in your offer being removed.
Additionally, if your offer is unlikely to succeed, for example, due to extremely high margins, it may not appear to other users. We recommend reviewing top-performing offers and adjusting yours to stay competitive. The algorithm considers current market conditions, so regular updates may be necessary to maintain visibility.
What Should I Do Next?
If your offer was removed, you’ll likely receive a warning explaining the reason. To resolve this, revise your offer and update its terms to comply with Paxful's guidelines. More serious or repeated violations could result in stricter actions, including payment method restrictions or account bans.
What If I Can’t Use the Same Payment Method Anymore?
If your payment method has been restricted and you're unable to create a new offer using it, please reach out to our support team. We’ll work with you to review the situation and help restore your access if possible.
