Paxful charges no escrow fees when you buy or receive cryptocurrency. Plus, our competitive fee structure means you keep more of your money.
Trading Cryptocurrency: Escrow Fees
Buying Cryptocurrency
When purchasing cryptocurrency from another user on Paxful, the price is set by the seller. These rates can vary based on several factors, including your verification status, chosen payment method, currency pair (e.g., USD, EUR, CNY), and the size of your order.
Selling Cryptocurrency
The escrow amount represents the cryptocurrency you're selling and is temporarily deducted from your Paxful Wallet at the start of the trade. If the trade is completed successfully, Paxful charges an escrow fee. If the trade is not completed, the cryptocurrency is returned to your wallet with no fee charged.
Some kiosk trades may include additional fees beyond Paxful's standard escrow fee.
Sending and Receiving Cryptocurrency
- An external wallet refers to any wallet or address outside the Paxful platform.
- An internal wallet is a wallet within the Paxful ecosystem, used for transfers between Paxful users.
